i haven't been able to find these "story reader" books in my local stores anymore and was so excited to be able to purchase these online. i purchased quite a few of other books from my son, but now (five years later) that my daughter is old enough to enjoy this reader, i was so happy to find these tinkerbell/fairy books as that is what my daughter loves. i haven't had any issues with these not working, as others have - thankfully all of the books have worked for us. great purchase at only $9.99 - you really can't go wrong :)

If you have Story Readers already, then you know how great they are. This makes a perfect addition to your collection, especially if your child loves Disney fairies. This is the only fairy set out there and introduces new characters not seen in the movies.

I ordered this set as well as some other books for the Story Reader system and received them all together. I brought them in for my class to use and when we inserted the cartridge into the Story Reader, it made a noise as if it were closed and never would play any of the books. Not sure if the cartridge itself is broken, but we were not able to use it with any of the three books. All the others that we ordered came in fine, so I know it's not my Reader. (Unfortunately I already threw away my packing slip and invoice information)
