Story Reader 2.0 is the latest generation of the popular Story Reader system that brings to life stories about children's favorite characters. Story Reader 2.0 3-Book Disney Princess Library: Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan includes three storybooks and a cartridge for use in the newly designed Story Reader 2.0 console (sold separately). Insert the cartridge and place one of the three Disney Princess storybooks into the console, and turn the pages to read along. A narrator reads the book as each page is turned, and Story Reader 2.0 adds sound effects and music. Children follow along at their own pace as the words flow from their Story Reader 2.0. The three Disney Princess storybooks, designed for children ages 3 and older, present these new adventures with Ariel, Belle, and Tinker Bell: - Ariel: Mermaid for a Day. Ariel sets off on an underwater adventure to visit her friends and family after King Triton turns her back into a mermaid for a day.
- Beauty and the Beast: Read Me a Story. Read along as Belle tells the Beast a once-upon-a-time story with a bit of a surprise.
- Peter Pan: The Lost Bear. Tinker Bell and Peter Pan embark on a journey to find Michael's lost teddy bear.
The Story Reader 2.0 platform is not compatible with the original Story Reader and My First Story Reader platforms. Story Reader 2.0 3-Book Disney Princess Library: Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan conforms to the safety requirements of ASTM F963-08 and has been safety-tested for children 3 years and older. The unit is powered by three AAA batteries (not included). |

I purchased the Story Reader and Disney Princess Library for my daughter. When it arrived with just the books and no Story Reader, I was very unhappy. I had just gone by the picture and the description. I wish I had read the other review before mine. Now I have to return it. What a waste of my time. My daughter is quite upset too. This not the way to do business Amazon.

Don't buy this thinking you will be getting the deluxe package with story reader. This price is for the three books only. Very disappointed, they need to put up a different picture or disclaimer. Picture is correct on Publishers International website but not Amazons.
